Tears
In Gaza i met a mother
who’s son was lost 20 years
in the occupier’s prison. The tears
of all those years left her blinded.
My son held my hand as
we walked in the woods.
i imagined him taken from me
by the fools of power.
The sunset stripped of color,
would still carry majesty.
the sea would lose its depth,
yet hold it’s mystery.
What doesn’t kill you
makes you stronger or
so i’ve heard, but that
doesn’t lessen the pain.
A blind man hesitated,
once and then once again
his stick rhythmically tapping
on the broken concrete curb.
i held him gently by the arm
and said, ‘Can i walk with you?’
he smiled and said, ‘Brother,
are you not blinded too?’
All the raindrops falling,
every drop in the endless sea

fail to match years of tears
of the mothers of Palestine.
I met a boy blinded
by the occupiers rockets
no longer can he shed a tear
i cry for him throughout the year.
Yet, flowers bloom in
the Palestinian desert
the rushing sea purifies
the Gazan shore.
The tears of the youth
etch truth in the heart.
i am not blinded by tears,
at least not yet.
The tears of the brokenhearted
burn clear, clarifying our dreams,
sanctifying the parched earth
with every golden drop.
- yes you are making my point. the arabs were moved and moved is just a better way to say kicked out( not to mention the means of kicking out).. thats clearly occupation and oppression...and the arabs did not just say no because of jerusalem and it doens't matter what the arabs did..what matters is the natives, the palestinians they refused because its their land...brother I am not going to argue with you more than that...hey here is a quick cool simplified video i hope it helps
- @budsyremo so because theres a crazy man in germany all jews have the right to ethnically cleanse my land? how does that make any sense? when people come from europe andall around the world and start to violently rape ur land after u let a few of them in at frst. wht do u expect people to do.let them take their lands and fortunes and just leave because aww poor them their getting killed by a german nazi? palestinians welcomed jews when they came, there are palestinian jews till today
- @budsyremo the basis of israel is people OCCUPYING COLONIZING other peoples land in the name of judaism.u need to realize this is not a jewish arab war or jewish muslim war in reality im a palestinian and my grandmas house in safad and yaffa wich they still have the keys to and papers that prove they are theirs are no longer theirs because they got kicked out and israel created the absentee law second this is not propaganda. i live in PALESTINE i dont need a documentary to tell me what goes on.
- Israel has earned the hatred of the world. Their Zionist state was born with terror and ethnic cleansing. The Palestinians were not responsibilie for Europe's anti-Semtism that lead a small group of Jews to decide that they would take the land from those already there.Isael deserves no mercy. What they have done to the Palestinians is a horror, a horror backed by the US which shares the blame for Israel's atrocities.Surely the Palestinians are Hitler's last victims.
- @dozgare And bcoz the jews suffered we shouldn't make som1 else suffer . Like i said the land was further divided and arabs wer moved to eastern part of the 1947 division but it was the arabs who said "no" (because they wanted jerusalem) and these arab countries did nothing to help these refugees out . Saudi is the best example of how they denied citizenship rights to only palestinians and not to the rest of the arab world.
- @dozgare There is no unbiased documents to support that theory that there wer gangs . The jews wer not allowed into the eastern side of the palestine while muslims wer allowed. And if u wanna turn to scriptures then the jews have more right to live there . And in 1947 land was divided again to divide the western palestine into two sects wer ur arab friends went crazy and realized that it 's better to slaughter them like the banu -qurazya tribe.Search for Banu qurazya, u'll love how they wr klld

yyyyyyy....and btw if you watched the movie some little kids were shot by bullets (deliberately targeted ) by Israeli snipers..what were they thinking that little kids launched them - @budsyremo you don't have to be an athiest to read about the subject, and i don't know what sources you read...but i can refer you to better and more clear sources....and even if the rockets were fired from schools and mosques and what not even though there is no evidence at all that that actually happened but even though..you are talking about people who are fighting back, they are desperate from a very strong oppressor who is determined to make them desert the land
