It is a great honor for me on behalf of the Palestinian people to extend this request to accept the State of Palestine, a member of the United Nation
The application for membership of this based on natural rights, legitimacy, and the history of the Palestinian people, and based on the decision of the General Assembly of the United Nations, which holds 181 (II) on November 29, 1947, as well as the Declaration of Independence of the State of Palestine on November 15, 1988, and recognition by the General Assembly this Advertising through a resolution 43/177 of 15 December of the year 1988.

Concerning the request for the State of Palestine to accept a member of the United Nations, In my capacity as Chairman of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, that was officially announced that the State of Palestine is a peace-loving nation, and it accepts the obligations contained in the Charter of the United Nations, and solemnly undertakes to apply it.
